Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Develop and manage a team of business development professionals that will support your growth strategy for the industry;
• Responsible for developing a strategic plan/ business plan on how to increase market share in MEA (by service and by customer);
• Identify new and emerging needs among current and potential client companies for Ecolog services and products;
• Provide the CBDO with both short term and long-term goals that identify, qualify and quantify opportunities for growth;
• Identify potential customers & develop plans/strategy on how to approach them;
• Identify potential JV partners where necessary and identify potential acquisitions in order to fast track growth in the industry;
• Develop and maintain business contacts among the industries in MEA to obtain information on prospective client needs and plans;
• Produce Client database, weekly report of activities, and remain in constant contact with the CBDO on developments;
• Raise Ecolog’s profile within the Industry and develop client understanding of the scope of Ecolog services and products to ensure maximum inclusion in client invitations to bid;
• Develop opportunity specific Capture plans / information that will provide the Proposal Center the needed information and tools to maximize win probability;
• Conduct competitor analysis on a regular basis to support Capture and Positioning Strategy;
• Provide signoff on Proposal Strategy;
• Provide executive-level guidance to the Proposal Centre;
• Participate within final Proposal reviews;
• Identify, research and present in a comprehensive manner potential projects, clients, markets and geographies, subject to yield business opportunities.
• Benchmark Ecolog’s capabilities, solutions and pricing against incumbents and competitors.
• Responsible for managing and developing Ecolog’s relationship with select key accounts to create business opportunities and enhance partnerships.

Requirements

Competencies
• Proven track record in participating into winning new business;
• Excellent communications skills;
• Excellent commercial acumen;
• Customer focused, able to plan approaches and pitches to the client’s needs, concerns and objectives;
• Able to handle client objections by clarifying, emphasizing areas of agreement, working through differences to a positive conclusion, and using a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate effectively;
• Able to present to and consult with colleagues and managers on emerging business trends, to develop new services, products and distribution channels;
• Experience in managing and developing Joint Venture/Partnership approaches to new business opportunities.

Qualifications
• Degree in Business Administration and Marketing or engineering and MBA preferably;
• Comprehensive exposure to the Oil & Gas sector;
• Demonstrated capabilities in developing and contributing to successful commercialization strategies
• Demonstrated ability to identify and/or materialize new opportunities
• Demonstrated competencies in networking; contact building; negotiation; creative thinking; resilience.
