Bring a global perspective to take down international cyber security threats. As Vice President of Cryptography, your dream will secure the businesses of today from the threats of tomorrow. Whether leading security efforts on our own Secure Communications Suite or for outside clients, it pays to keep your guard up at DarkMatter.

As VP of Cryptography, you will:

- Spearhead the creation of new crypto algorithms to protect our clients, our company and our Secure Communication Suite
- Anticipate threats and client needs to develop algorithms that solve the cyber security problems of the future
- Lead, develop and inspire a team of research scientists to consistently produce high-quality results
- Have the freedom to develop and prove crypto algorithms in-house for a cyber security leader in a dynamic region

Requirements

To guard against the threats of the future, you'll need:

- Experience managing cryptography teams in a university research or corporate setting
- Experience in overseeing the development of cryptographic algorithms for enterprise-grade cyber security products in mobile, cloud and web
- Ability to set clear, deliverable goals and to motivate and inspire teams to accomplish them
- Deep understanding and experience with symmetric, asymmetric and post-quantum cryptography
- Tenacity, accountability and commitment to anticipate problems and deliver new solutions

Our Process

Your time is valuable, so we aim to respond to all applicants within five working days. Following the initial selection process, you will speak with a member of the Talent Acquisition team to broadly discuss your experience, assess your compatibility with our values and culture and address your questions about the business. After this, you will have a technical interview with someone from the appropriate team to take a deeper dive into your skills.

Following a successful second interview, you will have a final round of interviews with our Executive team.

With over 50 nationalities working in the firm, we are hiring the best tech talent in the world. To reach this global talent, our interviews are frequently conducted by telephone or video-conference.
