Job description / Role
Purpose: Lead the design, planning, implementation and operation of Remote Managed Security Services
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Working with solutions architects to design the next generation of remote managed security service offers. Decide on the best technology, facility, and personnel investment to create this capability.
* Develop a business plan with milestones to enter into the Emirati marketplace to attract customers to outsource their cyber security services.
* Advise and make recommendations to the client regarding current status and emerging frameworks / tools/technologies
* Supervise and manage delivery of services related to remote managed security
* Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, topics, methodologies and core technologies in order to assimilate client needs and design appropriate technical solutions
* Ensure engineers and staff are being trained both on-the-job and in a formal setting
* Ensure appropriate documentation for MSSP operations
* Support proposals to respond to Request for Information and Request for Proposals for MSSP services.
* Develop talent within the team by providing consistent direction and support to achieve stretch targets and take leadership positions
* Manage the team on a daily basis including resolving issues and maintaining high motivation levels within the team.
Requirements
* Ten plus year’s specialized experience in the following areas: Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP), Security Operations Center (SOC) management, intrusion detection, intrusion monitoring, and continuous monitoring.
* Very good understanding of cyber security
* Very good understanding of managed security services
* Strong understanding of complex network architectures and how security controls fit into the architecture
* CSSLP, CISSP, GCIA, GCIH certifications are a plus
* Should have been in a leadership role for at least 7 years
