VP of Engineering

Job description / Role

Quest Search and Selection is working with a well-known company in the Middle East which is looking for a VP of Engineering to join their dynamic team based in Dubai, UAE.

As VP of Engineering your responsibilities will include:

· Be the technology leader for the company's customer service products
· Deliver end-to-end solutions for a seamless customer search and browse experience
· Lead teams in prioritizing, assigning and executing tasks throughout the software development life cycle, and identifying product priorities, roadmaps and providing suggestions for improvements.
· Lead in the creation and development of a culture that promotes an agility and innovation.
· Effectively leading and manage a team and collaborate with stakeholders.
· Ensuring effective and efficient collaboration with different departments and team members

Requirements

Desirable skills and background:

· Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience in the same capacity
· Strong experience in e-commerce, digital product delivery, software design, software delivery lifecycle (Agile)
· Experience as a senior level in a software organization or start-up environment
· Ability to build a great engineering team that promotes excellent culture and innovation
· Skills: e-commerce, technical support, customer support, product delivery
