VP of O&M – Power / Energy - Emirati National

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Emirati National to join as Vice President of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) in the Power and Energy sector. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence, sustainability, and innovation in managing critical national infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership for all O&M functions across power and energy assets.
• Develop and implement long-term operational and maintenance strategies to ensure reliability, sustainability, and efficiency.
• Oversee energy generation, transmission, and distribution operations.
• Lead large technical teams, ensuring strong performance, development, and engagement.
• Manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
• Drive innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement in O&M practices.
• Represent the company with key stakeholders, regulators, and partners.

• UAE National (Emirati) with family book and passport
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Power, Energy, or related Engineering discipline (Master’s preferred).
• 15+ years of progressive experience in O&M within the Power/Energy sector, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
• Strong expertise in energy generation, transmission, and distribution.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale operations, budgets, and diverse technical teams.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• English required, Arabic preferred.
