Our client—a leading engineering firm—seeks a dynamic Vice President of Supply Chain to own and optimize end-to-end procurement and contracting processes. You will partner closely with Finance and senior leadership to align supply chain strategy with financial objectives, Emiratization goals and long-term sustainability plans.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that support financial targets, business objectives and Emiratization initiatives
• Collaborate with executive leadership on growth, stability and sustainability projects
• Build and sustain strategic relationships with suppliers, vendors and partners for reliable, cost-effective sourcing
• Serve as the central liaison between Supply Chain and other business units to ensure seamless collaboration
• Lead, coach and inspire a high-performing supply chain team, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Identify and mitigate risks (e.g., disruptions, regulatory compliance, financial impacts) across the supply chain
• Champion best practices and innovative solutions to drive efficiency and competitive advantage
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for the supply chain function
• Prepare and present performance reports, financial analyses and strategic recommendations to the executive team
• Ensure training and development programs equip team members with the necessary technical and behavioral skills
• Embed corporate excellence, sustainability and institutional standards within all supply chain activities
• Guide annual operational planning in line with the organisation’s strategic roadmap
Requirements:
• Emirati national
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline (Master’s preferred)
• 12 + years of progressive supply chain experience, including 5 + years in a senior leadership role
• Proven track record in contracts & procurement within a large, complex organisation (utilities, energy or engineering sector preferred)
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting and P&L oversight
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead change, manage risk and deliver innovative supply-chain solutions
