VP - Transformation Lead

Job description / Role

A leading bank across the GCC seeking to hire a VP - Transformation Lead to join their team. This role's overall responsibility for management, coordination and oversight of all initiatives in the IT Transformation Programmes.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

* Execute a smooth delivery of the 26 Transformation Programmes
* Organises initiatives in the IT Transformation Programme
* Establishes, maintains, and leads the Transformation Office team, including establishment of Programme plans and enabling processes
* Responsible with driving Programme and project performance and financial performance
* Responsible with Project Portfolio project lifecycle.
* Support the execution of the Transformation Programmes
* Deliver IT transformation and BAU activities (full lifecycle: onboarding, upskilling, evaluation, exiting)

Requirements

Qualifications and Competencies

* IT based Degree, University Degree, or equivalent work experience required and banking qualifications
* 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager
* 5+ years' experience in Transformation Programmes
* Experience working in an Agile environment
* Worked as an External and Internal consultant with a recognized consultancy company
* Project Management certification (PMI or PRINCE2) and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (min) from Banking Industry
* Ability to influence, coach/mentor, listen and ability to understand big picture
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
