Position Title: Waiter
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 2.5K AED all-inclusive, depending on experience and qualifications
Job location: Dubai, UAE

About the Client:
The hiring company is an elegant café offering a creative and memorable oven-to-table, kitchen to living room stye menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A gourmet quality cooking with homely approach, blending traditional and modern styles.

Job Role:
• Providing excellent wait service to ensure satisfaction
• Taking customer orders and delivering food and beverages
• Making menu recommendations, answering questions and sharing additional information with restaurant patrons
• Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
• Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g.about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
• Inform customers about the day’s specials
• Up-sell additional products when appropriate
• Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software, order slips or by memorization

Requirements

• Male, 45 years old and below
• Diploma in any relevant field
• At least 2 years of experience in the same role, preferably in high-end restaurants
• Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system (e.g. Revel POS or Toast POS)
• Team player with the ability to interact with guests from different countries and cultures
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must have patience for customers and attentiveness
• Immediate joiners will be prioritized
