Join our dynamic team as a waiter/waitress in the vibrant city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates! We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner

Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing upselling techniques when appropriate

Serve meals and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and timing

Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings

Operate point-of-sale systems to process orders and payments accurately

Prepare dining areas, including setting tables and ensuring cleanliness

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery

Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously

Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards

Assist in opening and closing procedures as assigned

Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout shifts

Qualifications

Prior experience as a waiter/waitress in a luxury hotel or established restaurant environment

Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service

Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written

Fun, energetic, and friendly personality

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting

Excellent memory and ability to recall menu items and guest preferences

Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and splitting checks

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette

Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or plates

Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills

Professional appearance and good personal hygiene

Additional information

Minimum 1 year of experience in the same or similar role

Prior experience working with Opera or a related system

Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
