Waiter up to 3.3k Aed for a Leading Hospitality Group in AUH

• Greet and escort customers to their tables
• Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
• Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
• Inform customers about the day’s specials
• Offer menu recommendations upon request
• Up-sell additional products when appropriate
• Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software, order slips or by memorization
• Check customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
• Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
• Serve food and drink orders
• Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
• Deliver checks and collect bill payments

Requirements

• POSITION: WAITER
• SALARY: up to 3,300 AED as basic depending on experience and qualifications plus accommodation, transportation, and duty meals
• HIRING COMPANY: Hospitality Group
• WORK LOCATION: Louvre Museum, Abu Dhabi
• AVAILABILITY: Can join by 26h of December 2019
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to European Nationals
• Male, 35 years old and below

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Diploma in High School or any related certification; food safety training is a plus
• Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality, 4/5-star hotel, or fine dining restaurants
• Excellent presentation skills, customer service and multi-tasking skills
• Strong ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Active listening and effective communication skills
• Must be flexible and energetic
