Responsibilities

As a Warehouse and Logistics Assistant, you will have tasks in functional areas of the Engineering Warehouse & Logistics Department to ensure tools and material/logistics demands of maintenance customers are fulfilled safely and efficiently and in accordance with standard operating procedures.

In this role, you will:

• Complete or assist in completing warehouse and logistics tasks including, but not limited to tools and materials receiving, stocking, picking, issuing, transferring and pre-loading, tools handling, delivery of spares to agreed locations, and organizing pre-loaded material at the customer's location as per the assignment.
• Perform assigned warehouse and logistics tasks efficiently and contribute to meeting SLAs and other team/sectional targets.
• Ensure standard operating procedures (SOP) and engineering procedure manual (EPM) are followed at all times while adhering to safety policy/procedure and practices.
• Operate material handling equipment (MHE) and carry out system transactions (PC and handheld devices) related to warehouse and logistics activities as per the assignment.
• Update and maintain records as required.
• Perform or assist in performing the daily operational warehouse and logistics tasks of goods inwards, main stores, sub-stores, tool stores, line maintenance stores, outstation support, business support, and spares distribution sections as per assignment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the below requirements:

• Engineering/others 3+ years.
• 10 years schooling or equivalent.
• Work experience in warehouse and logistics is preferred.
• Basic English language skills and physical fitness.
• Having a valid UAE driver's license/Airside Driving Permit (ADP) would be an added advantage.
