Warehouse Associate - Picker/Packer

Warehouse Associate
Downtown, JLT, Motor City

Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately select items from inventory based on customer orders using handheld devices
• Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring items are grouped correctly and protected during transport.
• Ensure all items are handled with care to prevent damage, especially perishable goods.
• Check products for quality and expiration dates, ensuring only the best items are selected.
• Efficiently manage and verify incoming daily stock while maintaining quality.
• Assist in stock replenishment and organization, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and orderly.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of hazardous materials and maintaining a clean work environment, general housekeeping & cleaning equipments (Includes dusting, moping and cleaning pantry and washrooms).
• Training will be provided for these
• Work collaboratively with other team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:
• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred and if worked in a dark store or a grocery/supermarket is a plus

Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Good physical condition and stamina, as the job involves standing, walking, and lifting.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills or ability to use handheld electronic devices.
• Familiarity with grocery products and food safety standards is a plus.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working Conditions:
• 6 days a week, 9 Hours with 1 hour break.
• May include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Frequent standing, walking, and lifting of heavy objects.
