Warehouse In Charge

Job description / Role

The Warehouse In-Charge is responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, staff supervision, and ensuring efficient and safe operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team effectively. The Warehouse In-Charge will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and timely order fulfillment.

• Ensure that all warehouse activities are conducted in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.Implement and monitor inventory control systems to minimize discrepancies and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to manage stock levels and reorder supplies as needed.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of warehouse staff.
• Assign tasks and monitor the performance of warehouse employees.
• Conduct regular training sessions to ensure staff are knowledgeable about safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Liaise with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, sales and projects to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.
• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to warehouse activities.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory status, and other key metrics.
