Warehouse & Logistics Junior Assistant

Job description / Role

To provide general assistance/support to Engineering Warehouse & Logistics (EWL) department to ensure tools & material requests raised by maintenance are fulfilled as per company standard operating procedure (SOP).

Job Outline
- Support EWL sections - Goods Inwards, Main Stores, Sub Stores, Tool Stores, Line Maintenance Stores, Outstation Support and Spares Distribution sections as per assignment. Including, but not limited to material movement, loading/unloading, housekeeping and packing / unpacking of aircraft parts and material.
- Support assistants and senior assistants in performing warehouse and logistics activities efficiently / effectively to meet customer SLA and department targets.
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Engineering Procedure Manual (EPM) are followed at all times while adhering to safety policies and procedures.
- Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) related to warehouse & logistics activities as per the assignment.

Qualifications & Experience
Experience:
- Engineering Materials & Stores

Qualifications:
- 8 years of schooling experience
- 1 year work experience as an associate: warehouse and logistics experience is preferred.

Knowledge / Skills:
- Basic English language skills and physical fitness.
- A valid UAE driver's licence / Airside Driving Permit (ADP) would be an added advantage.
