Warehouse Manager

Job description / Role

- Ensure a clean and safe warehouse according to highest standard of GMP and HSE, as per company policies and UAE law.
- Responsible for the storage of raw materials, packaging materials, finish goods and spare parts for easy accessibility while maximizing storage space available.
- Provide regular and accurate reporting on stock availability and responsible for stock levels as per company standard.
- Management of deliveries according to sales orders from Sales team or Customer Service team.
- Relationship management of suppliers and contractors, ensuring full compliance to the company’s safety policies while on site.
- People management: responsible for the Warehouse teams, Distribution teams, including appropriate staffing levels, recruitment and development of individuals.
- Contributing to the annual budgeting and regular cost controlling of warehousing operations.
- Management and optimization of warehouse resources (vehicles, equipment, manpower).
- Analyze warehouse operations and propose improvement for efficiency.
- Responsible for receipt and storage of materials received.
- In case of warehouse located in manufacturing site, responsible for supply of materials to the Production department as and when required.
- In case of manufacturing warehouse, responsible for replenishment of stock to the Regional Warehouses.
- Control and ensure inventory accuracy is maintained to the set deviation tolerances. Managing weekly cycle counts and monthly full inventory reconciliation between physical and book stocks.

Requirements

- University graduate
- 8 years of functional experience out of which 2 years should be in an equivalent Middle management position.
- Advanced knowledge of ERP software used in Manufacturing & Distribution companies.
