Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Supervisory position responsible for the end to end warehouse operation. Supervising activities related to receiving, storage, internal goods movement and distribution of raw, packaging, semi-finished goods and finished goods.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the warehouse is being run as per best practices without compromising safety, discipline and food safety.
- Adhere to operational processes defined within the warehouse when it comes to food and people safety.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and inventory optimization.
- Engage with the Nestle Middle East HUB team
- Drive continuous improvement within the warehouse.
- Manage a team of stock controllers, warehouse operators and forklift drivers.
- Assist with leading the warehouse operational team and represent the warehouse when needed.
- Ensure Nestle Continuous Excellence principles are adhered to e.g. problem solving tools
- Ensure daily adherence to Good Warehousing Practices. .
- Ensure efficient flow into and out of the warehouse e.g. transfer raw materials to factory and dispatch of finished goods

Requirements

- Diploma in any subject required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience within warehouse operations with a reputed company
- Previous knowledge of handling food product is advantageous
- Experience of supervising a team in the warehouse
- Operational knowledge of warehouse management systems
- Competency with the use of MS Office programs. Highly proficient in MS Excel
- High level of competency regarding Safety, Health and Environment practices
- Excellent presentation and coaching skills
- Availability to work six days per week, rotating on three different shift schedules
