Job description / Role
• Accurate, timely turn-around of inbound and outbound goods in coordination with internal teams & service providers
• Maintain storage area by organizing floor space, adhere to storage design principles, recommend improvements.
• Ensure real time, accurate posting of transactions on the system
• Closely monitor stock movements and ensure security protocols are strictly enforced at all times
• Identify & implement warehouse system improvements
• Optimize fleet movement and daily scheduling
• Assign and monitor daily tasks & scheduling of warehouse operatives and helpers, training and coach staff as and when needed
• Maintain log & records and regular reports
Requirements
• University graduate
• 5+ years of warehousing logistics experience in a retail environment
• Thorough knowledge of health & safety aspect and legal requirements with regard to warehousing
• Well versed in MS office applications, particularly excel & ERP packages
• Good communication skills in English
• Attention for details & accuracy of data handled
• Speed of response & ability to work under pressure
