Employment: Full Time

A diversified local company in Abu Dhabi is currently recruiting for a UAE National- Web Master. You will be directly reporting to the Communication Manager

Job Objective: Working in close partnership with Communication Manager, the Web Master contributes to the multimedia influence by assisting the Communication Manager in the web strategy definition. He/She ensures the company’s Web sites development and management.

Responsible for:
- Website

Internal Communication:
- Liaising with all Marketing, Communication & Visitor Services Directorate, Editorial and Publishing Managers

External Communication:
- Liaising with website users and contractors

Key Responsibilities/Duties

Managerial Role:
- Provide support to the company’s Communication & Marketing sections
- Manage complex calendars and schedules;
- Evaluate the day-to-day needs of the department and consolidate data for review by the reporting unit;
- Spearhead special projects and provide assistance to other departments, as assigned by the reporting unit.

Organizational Role:
- Facilitates timely, service-oriented communication with international and domestic partners, clients, board members, museum staff and other colleagues;
- Maintains contact database and provides efficient data processing;
- Participates in meetings, research and special projects as assigned by the reporting unit.

Functional Role:
- Administrates and coordinates both website and Intranet site management
- Organizes and coordinates the Internet multimedia cultural and scientific contents, including information sections, theme-based routes and mini exhibitions sites
- Participates in partnership agreements establishment
- Ensures that the sites are operated in alignment with appropriate corporate priority
- Establishes key performance indicators and reviews web metrics reports; shares results and recommendations with appropriate management and staff
- Engages in user search analysis to determine audience needs; acts on audience feedback
- Participates and applies the communication plans using social media, multimedia, and other tools when relevant
- Identifies opportunities to use existing and emerging online tools
- Conducts relations with public visiting the website and keeps site ranking up to date

Key Accountabilities:

- Supportive services for all functions of the Multimedia department

Key Performance Measures:
- Timely and complete delivery of information to the department head and all involved parties
- Data processed and delivered on time and in full
- Levels of service maintained or exceeded

Requirements

- Aware of company’s current agenda and projects
- Knowledge of page formatting, image management, videos and content preparation (HTML, Photoshop, and similar software preferred) software packages
- High knowledge in Copyright, Publishing law and Intellectual property law
- Marketing concept and techniques
- Image-related law
- Social media principles and Web 2.0 technologies
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
- Administrative working hours
- Screen-based work
- On call time at place of work

SKILLS:
- Manages large scope project
- Establishes and follows key performance indicators
- Follows editorial process
- Conceptualizes and edits the online contents
- Analyzes problems by gathering and organizing all relevant information
- Fluency in English, fluency in Arabic or French

Preferred:
- Bachelor Degree or higher diploma [Second Cycle, Master or higher] in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Web Design
- 4 to 8 years experience in websites strategy and operational development Work Conditions & Specific Parameters
