Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Conduct technical feasibility studies and screening of wind power projects, both onshore and offshore, including identification of technical risk.
- Perform on-shore wind power resource assessments, data analysis and yield assessments using state-of-the-art modelling tools (WindPro preferred)
- Manage wind resource measurement campaigns. Draft request for proposals and procurement of mast installations and supervise the installation of wind measurement masts or remote sensing at potential sites.
- Performing concept design work on on-shore and offshore wind power projects. Support on the wind turbine procurement strategy by analyzing the different turbine alternatives available in the market
- Supervise the work activities of wind farm consultants or subcontractors both for onshore and offshore projects.
- Support the developing team to provide the necessary technical documentation to obtain project permits and NOCs.
- Review monthly and annual reports from existing wind farm projects; onshore and offshore
- Recommend technology or infrastructure changes to improve wind turbine performance, reduce operational costs, or comply with regulations
- Support in the preparation of project progress reports, proposals, and presentations required for internal purposes

Requirements

- Graduate Degree and/or MSc Engineering, preferably civil engineering
- At least 6-8 years work experience in wind energy;
- Several years of wind offshore experience
- Comprehensive WindPro (or similar) experience
- Analytical thinker with advanced communication skills
- Attention to detail
