Job Description
Inspection and Repair Services are looking to recruit persons experienced in the trade of electrical testing, inspection & repair of large turbo generators . Responsible for dismantling/re-assembling, rewinding, repairing, testing and troubleshooting large and/or complicated AC and DC equipment. Includes Power Generation equipment such as stators and fields(rotors), motor armature/rotors and field frames/stators, DC exciters, and collector assemblies. Work is conducted both on site and in the shop for GE and Non-GE applications.

Requirements

The current market growth requires expansion of the works force to meet the ever growing demand for skilled and semi skilled generator winders. Applicants are being offered the chance to join the team to work a dynamic and challenging industry. Additional training is available though the GE Energy University to enhance the skills required to execute new/improved repairs. Occasional travel is required due to the nature of the machinery worked on and it's permanent location at customer sites. Applicants must be flexible, be willing to travel across Europe and Globally within the GE business.
