Job description / Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to join the organisation on a permanent basis.
Job responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects and daily activities within the workshop
• Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are actively followed and maintained at a high level
• Manage the operational aspects of the facility to drive improvement in service delivery
• Oversee the management of the team ensuring regular and clear communication is in place
• Ensure all the necessary equipment, resources and systems are in place.
• Assist in ensuring that customer concerns / feedback are monitored, progressed and closed down
• Monitor the performance and potential of the team and provide the direction, training and motivation necessary to secure their optimum commitment, competency and maximum efficiency
Requirements
• Over 4 years of proven experience working in a similar workshop/production environment
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant field
• Experience leading a team
• Customer service skills
