Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This challenging opportunity demands the skills of a suitably qualified and experienced Manager to run the vehicle and plant workshops of a highly successful readymix company.

• You should be experienced in supervising a large workforce involved in the repair and maintenance of a variety of fixed and mobile plant and equipment including heavy transport vehicles, concrete plants as well as general readymix related equipment.
• The position will involve imposing modern workshop procedures as well as organising on-going staff training and development in order to improve skills within the workplace.

Salary:
USD 4,000 to 4,350 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: (NET) + accommodation, car, flights and medical insurance

Requirements

Required experience:
• Experience working as a Workshop Manager or Maintenance Manager or Plant Manager with Readymix Concrete companies.
• Strong communication skills, along with the ability to manage a multi-cultural team.
• Enjoy a challenge and have high levels of self-motivation and initiative.
• Technical and trade experience. In depth knowledge of plant maintenance is essential together with a strong `can-do` approach to solving plant issues quickly and efficiently.
• Experience working in the Middle East is an advantage but NOT a pre-requisite.
