GEMS Cambridge International Private School - Sharjah is a leading educational institution in the United Arab Emirates, offering a high-quality British curriculum education to students from diverse backgrounds. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 1 Teacher to join our team in January 2026 on a full-time fixed term contract basis.

Position: Year 1 Teacher

Education stage: Elementary/Primary School

Skills and qualifications:

• Minimum of bachelor's degree in Primary Education.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred
• At least 2 years of teaching experience at the elementary/primary school level
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the UK curriculum for Year 1 students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans and deliver effective instruction tailored to individual student needs
