Job description / Role
Guildhall has secured major staffing contract on one of the largest O&G projects in the region.
We are currently recruiting for a Pipeline Supervisor for this major onshore Oil & Gas pipeline project in Uganda.
Our client is a Joint Venture between two of the largest and prominent Oil & Gas conglomerates. The contract is valued at over $500m and is due to last 6 years.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare the pipeline stress report
- Implement the standardized construction work processes, procedures, manuals and systems
- Preparation construction method statements and procedures related to pipelines and piping
- Organize, coordinate, and supervise pipeline construction activities in accordance with construction schedules, monitor and review to complete the works on time and within budget.
- Prepare daily reports of work progress and manpower utilization.
- Prepare weekly reports of the total welded DIA inches of supports and joints and the remaining work front with the materials available.
Requirements
In order to succeed in this role, applicants should be able to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant majors with minimum 5 years similar onshore pipeline construction experience.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and English.
- Fluent in English
- Willing to relocate to Uganda
