Job description / Role
A leading a main contractor who specialise in producing the highest most opulent finishes in the world. Have recently be awarded a €150m fit out on one of the largest private owned properties in the world. Based out of London the commercial contracts manager will play a lead role in running the scheme from a contractual basis. The project is being carried out on a FIDIC basis with numerous clauses and specialist clauses.
Requirements
In order to be considered for the role, the commercial contracts manager must have previous experience in FIDIC forms for contract, ideally in super prime real estate. Construction or refurbishment of palaces or listed buildings would also be beneficial. As to be expected, the client’s representatives are challenging to say the least, therefore the position requires a strong leader who is capable of taking charge of difficult situations and meetings. A commercial legal background is also essential and despite the project being in its infancy, knowledge of claims and arbitration would also be advantageous in order to mitigate risk at the later stages of the project
