Completions Engineer

Job description / Role

• Tendering of MEP services elements and review in detail tender documentation conditions, scope of work and specifications for Lighting and Small Power, Piping, HVAC, Fire-fighting, cranes and elevators.
• Provide accurate cost estimates and participate in subcontract negotiations and issue recommendations whilst assisting in the preparation of building services Subcontract documentation.
• Review and advise on main contract and subcontract claims and variations whilst supporting the Civil Site Manager/ Supervisors or Mechanical Supervisors regarding installation of the building services installation on site and ensure compliance with the approved Construction drawings and technical specifications
• Attend regular site meetings with subcontractor(s) to ensure availability of required material and resources.

Requirements

• Bachelors and ideally Masters degree qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a relevant subject
• Must have Bachelor's degree or higher in an MEP engineering discipline.
• 5 years minimum experience in having direct responsibility for producing mechanical, electrical, plumbing or life safety construction documents ()
• 3 years minimum experience managing teams and taking the lead on interfacing with multiple stakeholders
• Broad knowledge of mechanical / electrical / life safety engineering infrastructure and coordination strategy with focus on mechanical design.
