Demand And Supply Planning Manager

Job description / Role

The role focuses on demand planning, inventory forecasting, and supply chain optimization through collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, NPD, and Supply Chain.

• Key responsibilities include improving forecast accuracy, managing stock levels to minimize overstock and obsolescence, and ensuring consistent supply through effective purchase order management.
• The position involves supporting the SIOP process, steering demand review meetings, and integrating market insights into demand planning.
• It requires strong communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders, maintaining ERP data accuracy, and developing tools and KPIs to monitor and enhance supply chain performance.
• Additionally, the role supports New Product Development, end-of-life processes, and continuous improvement projects to drive operational efficiency and align business objectives.

• At least 5 years experience in a similar role within a manufacturing/FMCG environment.
• Previous experience in setting up a new function; bringing together existing resources; heading up a similar function.
• Degree level or equivalent, within an appropriate related subject.
• Comfortable communicating across multiple layers in the organization; can deliver "bad news" and manage conflict.
• Cross-functional understanding of supply chain planning, sales, NPD, logistics finance, marketing, and operations.
• Excellent working knowledge of managing data through Excel & an ERP/MRP system.
• Fully conversant in MS Office.
• Supply chain and manufacturing processes and the enthusiasm to enhance knowledge.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiating skills.
• The role demands accuracy and attention to detail so excellent communication (both verbal and written), numerical, and analytical skills are all essential.

Salary:
USD 70,000 to 76,662 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
