Job description / Role
Location: Surrey
Contract: 6 months (Possible extension)
Rate: £25 - £30p/h
We are currently working with a global leading Energy business who are seeking a Senior Expediter to work on a 6-month contract in Surrey. The Expediter is responsible for timely delivery of equipment to the contractual point of delivery without impact to the project. The expediter is also responsible for ensuring timely submittal of critical documentation to our Engineering Data team.
The expediter will be the principle point of contact for the allocated project(s) with interfaces to 3rd Party Suppliers, Sourcing, Projects, Specifiers and Engineering Document Control. In addition, the Expediter will interact with other Regional Procurement Centers including, Expediting teams, Inspection, Sourcing and Shipping during project execution.
The successful candidate will possess extensive expediting experience in the Oil and Gas industry. The candidate must have ability to communicate successfully at all levels and have excellent IT skills, including SAP and Smartplant materials experience.
The successful candidate will be expected to continuously maintain the material control system and any electronic filing systems for the assigned workload.
