Senior Urban Planner

Job description / Role

Seeking to recruit a Senior Urban Planner to work in the London office. Though the post is based in London, there will be opportunities for frequent travel outside the UK. The candidate should be able to input into and coordinate master planning projects and manage the time and resources of internal and external teams effectively, to be aware of deadlines and to work well under pressure. Client liaison is a must as well as being confident at presentations and meetings and have a degree or post grad degree in PLANNING and ideally some design experience.

Requirements

Candidates should also have experience in leading a multi-disciplinary environment and of working on large and complex urban planning and master planning projects. Have excellent planning and presentation skills, initiative, motivation and be a team player, an excellent knowledge of current best design practice and sustainable development and a thorough knowledge of the design and planning process and the role of all necessary disciplines within project team. Minimum 4 years' experience ideally in private practise. Must be eligible to work in UK.
