Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities:
• Support the evaluation of strategic options and develop recommendations for both enterprise-wide and business unit specific projects
• Extract and summarize key insights to produce analyses and recommendations in the context of an initiative or project by gathering data and facts, employing modeling techniques, and quantitative analyses
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses for senior executives to support decisions about corporate development and overall organizational strategy
• Support the development and presentation of materials outlining complex and challenging business issues for various internal stakeholders, including but not limited to executive management
• Meet with senior management to communicate your insights and recommendations
• Efficiently execute research tasks by prioritizing research activity, and conducting competitive assessments, consumer research, financial analysis, and industry research to help determine future strategy
• Utilize the findings of your research and analyses to creatively construct well-thought-out ideas and solutions that address the assigned projects
• Develop benchmark analyses to identify competitive advantages, growth opportunities, etc.
• Support business unit decision making for specific strategic or operational issues

Requirements

Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is required, and an advanced degree or certification is a plus
• Must have at least 3 years of working experience in management consulting, corporate development and/or strategy, econometrics, investment banking, project management, or any other related field
• Experience working at a bank or financial services company is preferred
• Must have a proven track record of successfully collaborating with, and influencing senior leadership (as well as other stakeholders) to continually drive growth and financial results
• A track record of developing well-constructed insights and creative problem solving, that leads to a successful outcome is required
• Strong project management and organizational skills are required to manage multiple complex projects throughout the organization
• Must have strong communication and presentations skills
• Must have strong data management, spreadsheet, and application (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) skills, experience with VBA, Access, and/or SQL is preferred
