Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities
• Consult with dealership Parts, Service Managers & Dealership Executive Management on all aspects of the Dealer’s Parts business to deliver on the corporate Parts objective. This includes, but is not limited to: wholesale growth, all fill rate analysis, lost sales tracking, & general growth & profitability of the Dealer’s Parts business.
• Primary interface with customers concerning non-technical Service & Parts issues.
• Work with Dealers & Corporate Customer Care staff to negotiate resolutions as they relate to Customer Satisfaction issues.
• Monitor Dealer metrics to ensure all Customer Satisfaction & Loyalty processes are delivering to target levels. Consult with Dealer management team to take corrective action in the event results are below target levels.
• Work with facing Area Sales Managers to create business plans & consult with Dealer. Principals/General Managers/Service Managers on ways to increase profitability and efficiencies.
• Develop & implement Parts & Service programs/incentives for Area.
• Collaborate with QTM when issues arise requiring their involvement, & facilitate problem resolution, if appropriate.
• Coordinate Service &/or Parts Managers meetings, as required.
• Responsible for Service process improvements (literature, training, tools), & standards implementation.
• Primary point-of-contact for BBB/buyback & arbitration issues; involve QTM for technical issues as required.
• Allocates discretionary budget to develop sales incentives to maximize sales opportunities & achieve monthly & annual Parts Sales objectives.
• Work with After Sales Business Analyst to coordinate training activities for all dealership fixed operations staff.
• Enforce VW operating standards, facility requirements & corporate identity requirements.
• Utilize interpersonal & negotiating skills to drive Dealer performance & profitability & achieve Parts Sales & Customer Satisfaction targets
• Optimize Parts inventory levels through direction & influence of Dealer management to ensure attainment of Parts Sales objectives.
• Act as the key stake holder ensuring Dealer adherence to VWoA Warranty policies & procedures.
• Work in conjunction with the VWoA Warranty group to monitor, coach, counsel, & initiate corrective action where necessary with regard to Warranty cost control performance.
• Participate in Warranty reviews & audits in conjunction with the VWoA Warranty group & ensure Dealer fulfills action plans & meets Warranty Cost objectives.
• Develop action plans to improve sales effectiveness of Dealers performing below expected market levels.
• Utilize analysis provided by region staff to approve Area Sales forecasts.
• Utilize market knowledge to collaborate with region dealer Development staff to optimize opportunities resulting from Dealer buy/sells, relocations & facility upgrades.

Requirements

Qualifications
• Prior field experience and proven success in leading a team of professionals in achieving rigorous sales and profit objectives
