Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Plans & prepares instructional methods & materials for IATA Dangerous Goods Manual
- Co-ordinate with relevant department for updates the applicable section of IATA and operational manuals
- Provide clarification & feedback through effective questioning skills
- Support operations when necessary and manage an environment that fosters learning and performance
- Prepare, update and maintain training courses for employees involved in Ramp Handling in order to meet Oman Air, PACA and IATA standards and procedures.
- Prepare complete course syllabus and utilize standard methods of evaluation listed in course outlines or other materials approved by the department.
- Revise and update IATA DGR training material as and when required
- Assist Asst. Manager Learning & Development to prepare the yearly training plan
- Mentor the trainees as and when required
- Assist Asst. Manager Learning & Development to monitor the instructor update records
- Assist Asst. Manager Learning & Development to prepare the annual L&D training budget
- Assist Asst. Manager Learning & Development to formulate training policies & procedures

Requirements

Bachelor degree in a related discipline preferably in Business Administration or an allied discipline with 4 years of management experience or management teaching experience.

OR Two years college Diploma in a related discipline with 6 years of relevant work experience. OR Specialised certificate / license in the related field preferably in DGR / Ramp or any allied field with Secondary School certificate and having 10 years of WY / Aviation experience in a similar function.

Special Skills & Knowledge Proficiency in English (Reading and Writing) Proficiency in MS office Presentation skill Excellent Inter personal and communication skills Possess good Analytical and analyzing skills
