Civil Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our oil and gas EPC project team in Uzbekistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing civil construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Supervise and monitor on-site civil construction works, ensuring adherence to design drawings and technical specifications.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to guide civil works execution.
• Coordinate daily construction activities with contractors, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Implement quality control measures and conduct inspections to ensure work quality and compliance.
• Track construction progress, identify potential delays, and propose mitigation measures.
• Support HSE standards and enforce safety practices on-site.
• Prepare and maintain civil work records, reports, and documentation for project management review.

• Bachelor's degree or above in any discipline; Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in civil construction, with proven track record in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial EPC projects.
• Familiar with international construction standards (e.g., ACI, ASTM, BS) and quality control procedures for civil works.
• Experience in supervising site works such as earthworks, concrete, foundation, structure, drainage, and road construction.
• Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings, BOQs, and construction schedules.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in Russian or Uzbek is preferred and will be considered a significant asset.
