We are seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to support an EPC development of a major gas field project in Uzbekistan. Responsibilities include:

–Review and approve HVAC system designs and detailed construction drawings, ensuring compliance with international engineering standards.
–Oversee on-site installation and commissioning of HVAC equipment, including coordination with mechanical/E&I sub-contractors.
–Lead system performance testing (airflows, temperatures, pressure drops, balancing, controls).
–Interface closely with other disciplines (civil, structural, piping, electrical) to resolve inter-system conflicts, promote constructability, and drive technical coordination.
–Ensure all HVAC activities strictly comply with HSE regulations and company safety procedures, including risk assessments, permit-to-work practices, and toolbox talks.
–Provide technical support during pre-commissioning and commissioning phases; troubleshoot HVAC issues promptly.
–Participate in technical meetings, site progress reviews, and weekly reporting to Engineering and Project Management teams.

Requirements:

–A bachelor's degree is required as a minimum
–At least 5 years of HVAC experience in oil & gas or petrochemical EPC projects, with hands-on site construction and supervision background.
–Strong understanding of HVAC design codes, ductwork/fan/pump sizing, chilled water systems, VAV systems, filtration and ventilation for hazardous areas.
–Proven ability to manage installation crews and coordinate multi-disciplinary interfaces on site.
–Experience with system balancing, performance testing and commissioning procedures.
–Knowledge of HSE standards and safety culture in oil & gas environments.
–Knowledge of Russian or Uzbek is a strong advantage.
