Employment: Full Time

JOB TYPE: Contract (Full time)

WORK PERIOD: 40 months

SALARY: $8,000 - $10,500 per month.

COMPANY AND LOCATION:
The client is a large construction company specialised in construction of industrial and technological facilities in the oil and gas industry. They are one of the recognised leaders in the market of oil and gas development in Central Asia and Russia. The job holder will be based at the project office/ site in Uzbekistan.

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Give accurate and timely advice to executives in a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.)
- Collaborate with management to devise efficient defense strategies
- Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance
- Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations
- Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advise on possible legal issues
- Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust
- Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights
- Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces
- Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization
- Conduct work with integrity and responsibility
- Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation

Requirements

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- More than 10 years for gas/refinery/petrochemical plants in EPC Company as a Legal Advisor
- Proven experience as a legal advisor in business environment
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation
- Sound judgement and ability to analyse situations and information
- Decision making ability and leadership skills
- Knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office
- Working knowledge of case management software

QUALIFICATION:
BSc degree in Law or a similar degree

EXPERIENCE:
More than 10 years for gas/refinery/petrochemical plants in EPC Company (Legal Advisor experience is required)

- Time management and organisation skills
- Excellent people and team management skills
