Project Control Manager

JOB TYPE: Contract (Full time)

WORK PERIOD: 40 months

SALARY: $10,500 - $12,200 per month.

COMPANY AND LOCATION:
The client is a large construction company specialised in construction of industrial and technological facilities in the oil and gas industry. They are one of the recognised leaders in the market of oil and gas development in Central Asia and Russia. The job holder will be based at the project office/ site in Uzbekistan.

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Control internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project control documentation

Requirements

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- More than 25 years for gas/refinery/petrochemical plants in EPC Company as Project Control Manager
- Great educational background, preferably in the fields of construction or engineering for technical project managers
- Proven working experience as a project administrator in a project environment

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in project management
- A team player with management abilities
- Experience of developing budgets and tracking expenses

QUALIFICATION:
- BA/ MA in Project Management
- PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus

EXPERIENCE:
More than 25 years for gas/refinery/petrochemical plants in EPC Company (Project Control Manager experience is required)

SKILLS:
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent people and team management skills
