Founded in 1927, El-Aghil Group of Companies started through establishing El-Aghil Trading Company. El-Aghil Trading Company is the mother company of El-Aghil Group; through this company the big work has started to include companies spread all over the Republic of Yemen, specialized in several fields of daily life.

El-Aghil Trading Company covers several trading activities including importing agricultural equipment, heavy equipment, home and office appliances and spare parts, in addition to modern workshops for most of its trade marks. Some of the international agencies include Volvo Trucks, Volvo Cars, Volvo Penta, Andoria, Atlas Copco, Electrolux, Riso Graph, Muratec, Syngenta and many others.
