Contracts Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

• Insurance Experience
• Processing insurance policies: Insurance employees process new insurance policies, which includes reviewing applications ,term ,condition, verifying information, and ensuring all necessary documents are in order. They also handle policy renewals and updates.
• Underwriting: In the case of insurance underwriters, their role involves evaluating risks associated with insurance applications and determining appropriate coverage and premiums.
• Compliance and legal matters: ensure compliance with insurance regulations and policies. They may assist in maintaining records, preparing reports, and responding to legal inquiries or audit.
• Risk assessment and loss prevention: responsible for assessing risks associated with insured properties or businesses and providing recommendations for loss prevention measures.
• Prepare tender document.
• Support the Senior Contracts Specialist in effective performance management of outsourced contracts delivering
• Effectively implement, measure and monitor supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Support monthly performance meetings with key suppliers
• Effective interface with key stakeholders across Ashghal.
• Work towards driving improved contractor performance, encouraging innovation and supporting best practice.

REQUIREMENTS

• 10 years + Contracts/supply chain leadership experience with extensive experience of developing and implementing Contracts policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of tendering and bid preparation in a competitive market.
