JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a leading industrial group located in Jeddah. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join the in-house supervision team for constructing a new industrial building as part of the expansion plan of the group. The ideal candidate will be part of the project management in-house team, reporting the director he shall be responsible for overseeing the construction of a new factory, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the director and as part of the team, he shall oversee all day-to-day aspects of the industrial building project, including planning, project management, frame-work, daily progress of the construction, and compliance with the original design of the project.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the construction process.
- Collaborate with Contractor as well as the Consultant and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth execution of the project in compliance with the specifications , codes and standards.
- Monitor and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of the project.
- Supervise and coordinate construction teams and subcontractors, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any potential issues or discrepancies, and to ensure quality control and safety measures are maintained.
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including the company management, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, to provide updates and address any concerns or inquiries.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports, budget analyses, and other project documentation to senior management and project partners.

REQUIREMENTS

- Saudi national is required for this role
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- PMP is a certain plus
- Proven experience in managing and overseeing industrial building projects, with a strong emphasis on factory construction and industrial infrastructure.
- Previous experience in Steel Structure is a certain plus
- In-depth knowledge of construction principles, practices, and techniques, as well as building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
7- to 10 years working experience in similar role is required.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality.
- Arabic is a must and Fluency in English is required, with the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with diverse stakeholders.
