Arabic Executive Assistant – Corporate Affairs

Employment: Full Time

This is a senior Corporate Executive Assistant reporting to the CEO of a highly diversified group of companies in the UAE. The role as the Executive Assistant will be to provide a full spectrum of senior level and seamless support to the CEO and to specifically manage extensive stakeholder engagement and communication across all government, business, and personal interests. This will include all formal correspondence, reports, and presentations with strictest protocols. The role is at the forefront of all communication, drafting memo’s, contracts, and briefs in both Arabic and English and be responsible for building strong relationships both internally within the business and externally.

Day to day office operations will involve being the CEO’s representative and first point of contact, ensuring the office runs efficiently and smoothly, screening and prioritizing calls and meeting requests and delegating appropriately. Additionally, arranging meetings, conference calls and all other meeting logistics to ensure the needs of the CEO are met. Extensive diary management (Outlook), making sure that the CEO’s demanding and fluctuating schedule is always up to date, email & contacts management, drafting and proof reading correspondence and compiling speaking notes for conferences and interviews. Undertaking research when required and interfacing with internal and external stakeholders such as government entities, clients, service providers etc., providing information, and handling any issues that arise independently. The successful applicant will be intuitive and be able manage confidential ad hoc matters as and when they arise and exercise considerable judgment and discretion in completing assignments.

This is not a traditional EA role, but more of a strategic, communication support role and we are seeking candidates with a specific skill set and degree. We are seeking native Arabic speakers, with exceptional, professional English written ability. Arabic and English written and verbal skills should be interchangeable in fluency and candidates must be well versed in writing detailed correspondence in both languages. English written skills must be articulate and grammatically correct. To be considered for the position, a degree from recognised University will be required.
