JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a Direct Sales person focusing primarily on the Defence industry in the UAE. The Direct Sales person will play a key administration role in finding new sales contacts and then will be travelling to find new opportunities.

You will be required to find new prospects and make verbal contact with them to arrange either onsite demonstrations or online web presentations. Initially, the role is focused on new lead generation only and you will be supported by a research team and other software to arrange some appointments. However, after initial training, you will be required to find a lot of your own contacts and will be required to manage your newly created contacts as key accounts.

Some Performance Based Renumeration will be applied, based on contact creation / opportunity registration but this will vary depending on the candidates previous history in both the Business Development and Defence areas.

The ideal candidate will have a strong direct sales background to effectively open doors.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement direct sales strategies to achieve sales targets in the Defence sector in UAE (10% in GCC)
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Collaborate with the Helios Market Research Team
- Setup leads for technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our products
- Assist with any exhibitions for lead generation (1 or 2 per year)

After some time and you have developed enough key accounts:
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients, understanding their requirements and offering suitable solutions
- Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships

Salary:
AED 125,000 to 300,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Performance Based

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (not mandatory)
- Proven experience in sales
- Proven experience in the Defence industry (not mandatory)
- Understanding of Electrical products (not mandatory)
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to easily breakdown barriers when prospecting new customers
- No fear of calling new prospects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive, self-motivated attitude
- Strong minded approach to attacking results based targets
- Willingness to travel and meet with clients as needed
