JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Procurement to join our team and lead our procurement efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure the efficient sourcing and acquisition of goods and services necessary for our operations.

• They will oversee all aspects of the procurement process, from vendor selection and negotiation to contract management and supplier relationship management.
• The Head of Procurement will play a critical role in driving cost savings, optimizing supply chain efficiency, and supporting the company's overall growth and success.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers, assessing their capabilities, reliability, and suitability for the company's needs.
• Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with vendors to secure the best possible pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Manage contracts and agreements with vendors, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and engineering teams, to understand their procurement needs and priorities.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership.
• Lead a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to drive performance and professional development.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to streamline the procurement process and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on procurement activities, performance metrics, and cost savings initiatives for senior management.
