JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing various aspects of the company's operations. You will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, implementing best practices for inventory control and order fulfillment, and leading initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce errors. Additionally, you will collaborate with sales and marketing for demand planning, develop strategies for efficient transportation and distribution, and lead a team of warehouse and logistics professionals. Your role will also involve budget planning, continuous improvement, and staying updated with the latest trends in operations

Responsibilities:

• Manage warehouse operations for timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Implement best practices for inventory control, space utilization, and order fulfillment.
• Lead initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce errors.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing for demand forecasts and accurate plans.
• Use forecasting tools to predict demand trends and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Develop strategies for efficient transportation and distribution of goods.
• Coordinate with logistics partners for on-time delivery and cost-effective solutions.
• Lead a team of warehouse and logistics professionals, ensuring performance targets are met. (KPIs such as SL, OTIF, Fill Rate, OOS, Inventory Turn etc)
• Plan and prepare operations budget, ensuring cost-effective resource use.
• Identify process optimization opportunities and implement improvements.
• Stay updated with trends in operations and supply chain management.

Salary:
AED 20,000 to 27,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• 10 years of operations experience, including five years in management roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
