Job Title: Purchasing Assistant (Emirate Fresh Graduate)
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Role Type: Permanent
We are seeking an Emirate fresh graduate to join our client's prestigious renewable energy company as a Purchasing Assistant. Your enthusiasm and dedication will play a pivotal role in the procurement operations of one of the Middle East's leading renewable energy firms.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Purchasing Officer by accurately inputting Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) into the QuickBooks system.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with suppliers, both current and potential, to ensure a robust network of sources.
- Seek necessary internal management approvals before transmitting LPOs to suppliers, adhering to established protocols.
- Uphold compliance with our client Governance and the group travel policy, ensuring all procurement activities align with company regulations.
- Collaborate with the Compliance department to secure approvals when required, maintaining regulatory adherence.
- Compile and present a monthly dashboard, using QuickBooks data, to provide valuable insights to management.
- Assist during the Purchasing Officer's absences or annual leaves to ensure continuity in procurement functions.
- Calculate CO2 emission data per user, contributing to the company's sustainability goals.
- Oversee annual ticket procurement for expatriates and collaborate with HR to update the annual ticket allowance table.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
- Finance Bachelor Degree
- Proactive approach, capable of establishing and nurturing external client relationships.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English for effective communication with stakeholders.
- Quick responsiveness and a proactive attitude in tackling procurement tasks and challenges.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in LPO management before supplier submission.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for generating insightful monthly reports.
