JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Basic Function: Apply expert knowledge of tax compliance requirements and procedures in GCC.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist in collecting, organizing, and entering financial data into tax software or spreadsheets
- Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and rulings
- Prepare and maintain documentation, such as schedules and workpapers, to support tax filings and compliance efforts
- Support Tax Manager and Finance Head in developing and implementing tax planning strategies
- Analyze financial data to identify potential tax implications and assist in making informed decisions
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information and ensure accurate and complete tax reporting
- Provide support during tax audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and helping to resolve issues
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate relevant information to the tax team and other stakeholders
- Participate in period-end closing activities, particularly in processing tax records and performing reconciliations
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, organizing documents, and maintaining records

REQUIREMENTS

- Qualified CA/ACCA who has 2-3 relevant UAE experience
- Possess Strong technical knowledge regarding UAE and GCC Tax Laws
- Expertise in tax returns, preparation and finalization for tax audits
- Knowledge of IFRS, local statutory laws and regulations/implications
- Be self-motivated and a problem solver
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player
- Knowledgeable Oracle System
