Alhamrani Universal Company (AU) was established in 1981 as the vehicle for Alhamrani Group hi-tech interests when substantial Group resources were deployed to reassess the impact of innovative technologies on commerce and everyday living. AU is a privately owned company with more than 400 employees today.

As long-term business opportunities were identified, creative strategies were applied with considerable emphasis on Electronic Banking Solutions, IT Solutions, Systems Integration, Electronic and Physical Security Solutions as well Services initially across the Kingdom and later throughout the Gulf region.

AU managed throughout the past years to maintain and grow its market share in KSA on the Automated Teller Machines (ATM) business line alongside its partner, Diebold Inc., since 1986 up till today. Throughout these years, the strong relationship was the nucleus that incepted a solid relationship between the two entities and promoted the expansion on Gulf Countries that started in 2004.
