FL-Connect Telecom Group was founded in 1998. Since its formation, FL-Connect was dedicated into GSM Gateways and SIM Servers and associated services.

1998: It was the early days in the newly liberalised markets in Europe. FL-Connect was developing solutions for new carriers in Europe and its home market, Austria.

1999: Together with the newly founded EpiTel Telematik GmbH, FL-Connect delivers Enterprise GSM Gateways for connection to PBX Systems. The dominant product was the ECOTEL GSM Gateway, which was the first of its kind with fully synchronized BRI interfaces.

2003: Formation of FL-Connect Telecom Services GmbH as a Austrian limited liability company. Share capital: EUR 36.000,00. In this year, FL-Connect was appointed TELES Distributor for the UK and Ireland as well as Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

2005: Sales of GSM Gateways in Europe peak with over 300 units or 9000 Ports sold in just one year. Main Markets are UK and Italy. The vGATE SIM Server was first introduced in early 2005 and FL-Connect sells 20 systems in the first year.

2007: Markets shift from Europe to Middle East and Asia. New Markets are developed and first Installations in Syria, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon are sold. FL-Connect is appointed TELES Gold Partner.

2009: FL-Connect and TELES create a new strategy for selling GSM Solutions for carriers. A TELES internal Sales Force is formed and led by GSM Gateway specialists

2010: FL-Connect takes over the entire GSM Gateway Operator business from TELES AG.

Turnover peaks EUR 4 Milling in 2010.

2013: FL-Connect Middle East FZ-LLC is formed in Dubai Internet City. The carrier branch and consulting branch of the company are established.
Turnover peaks EUR 6 Million for the entire group.
