Incorporated in 1998 as a Kuwaiti Closed Shareholding Company. Main objectives of the company are:

- Provide full range of hospitality services; including establishment and management of restaurants and catering services as well as providing related advisory services;
- Representation of foreign companies specialized in the food and beverage industry;
- Import/Export of foodstuff;
- Ownership in companies, local or foreign, with similar activities as of KFG

In 2005, Kout Food Group (KFG) acquired three of the food related companies of Al Homaizi Group:

- Al Homaizi FoodStuff Co.
- Specialty Restaurants Co.
- MEEM Foodstuff Co.
