After the 1958 revolution the Iraqi regime changed from kingdom to republic i..e the country economy was changed from the free to the social one as a result of that all private companies starts to suffer a lot as the governmental companies became to control all the economy in Iraq. In 1979 when Saddam came to be the leader of Iraq. The next year he started the gulf first war with Iran which last 8 year later on he invade Kuwait and later the embargo imposed on the country which last about 13 years until 9-4 2003 when Iraq become free. From the above we can understand the level of the country economy.
