Yanbu Steel Company, set up in 1982 as a joint venture with PDM Inc of the USA but one hundred percent Saudi owned since 1994, has its main facilities, consisting of twenty thousand square meters of fully equipped covered workshops complimented by a skilled multinational workforce of over one thousand personnel, located in the Red Sea industrial city of Yanbu, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Yanbu Steel Company is now recognized as the premier Saudi Arabian tank contractor having successfully completed many large, technically difficult tank contracts covering all types and sizes of tanks including cryogenic, double wall, floating roof, and very large solid stainless steel tanks as well as the more conventional dome and cone roof tanks. Yanbu Steel Company is further recognized for its excellence in the design and fabrication of pressure vessels and process columns having successfully delivered large (in excess of three hundred tonnes) vessels as well as vessels and columns fabricated from exotic materials (inconel, stainless steels, clad plate etc.) and carbon steel. Yanbu Steel Company has also developed an extensive track record in structural steel having supplied (and erected) more than thirty thousand tonnes of structural steel and modularised steel weldments over the last ten years.
